Philanthropy

NEPA extends a helping hand to the local community. The group’s commitment to improving the well being of its neighbors is a core value and ranges from significant financial donations to charitable organizations to supporting golf tournaments, walks for life, local sports teams, and volunteer efforts of many kinds. In fact, all NEPA employees are encouraged to take 4 hours of paid time per month to do volunteer work. In recognition of its contributions to the community, NEPA was designated the 2009 Outstanding Philanthropic Corporation of Hampden County by the American Fundraising Professionals of Western Massachusetts. NEPA was also presented the “Standing Ovation Award” on January 22, 2010 by the AIDS Foundation of Western Massachusetts in grateful recognition of its outstanding commitment to the foundation.
